Manchester Community College - Phi Theta Kappa
Group Photo Who is Phi Theta Kappa?

We are an international honor society for those who excel in the community college environment. We are a group of people that come from diverse backgrounds, yet congregate under a single banner which shows that we have not only arrived at college but also succeeded to such a degree that we demand recognition. This is not to say we are an elitist group; just by becoming eligible to be apart of Phi Theta kappa you have shown that you deserve to be recognized for your achievements. By accepting our invitation you have shown that you also want to declare your achievements and at the same time meet people who have made the same achievements.

Who are you?

We are the Manchester Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Upsilon Alpha. We are one of the premier chapters of the region and hope to soon become one of the premier chapters in the entire world.

What do you do?

We will do anything we can to help our members and those around us achieve their goals. We are very active in the community often volunteering at charity events across the state. We do fund drives for organizations such as the American Cancer Society, have raised money for other organizations through children's books and food to donate to local shelters. One week we may be having charitable book sales, and have held bake sales for worthy causes such as helping Katrina victims.
But our activities don't end at charity work, we have special events for our members related to topics that are important to each of our lives. This year we are focusing on the environment, but who knows what next year. Even outside of the group we hope to be able to organize special events that are open to other students and even the community at large.

We hope you enjoy this informational site. If you are looking to join then we wish you all the luck in the world. If you have already joined then we hope to see you soon.

Until we meet in person, take care.
